The appearance of a rack does not determine how sturdy it is because it can be invisible to replace pallet loads. Many problems may go unnoticed when viewed with the naked eye, such as crushed or sheared frames, bent columns, broken and damaged footplates and anchors. Therefore, racks should be checked regularly to look for these damages to be repaired.
